Informal Economy Alliance

Informal Economy Alliance

The IEDF was launched on May 11, 2022, marking a significant milestone in the Informal Economy and becoming the voice of the voiceless. The IEDF’s Informal Economy Support division is responsible for bringing together relevant government departments and national informal economy organizations. This department has established a National Leadership Board (CEC), where National Leaders convene under the auspices of the IEDF to discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and plan programs and campaigns to benefit the Informal Economy.

Training and Education are also very important components of the IEDF’s activity calendar. Capacitating leaders and members in various training components is seen as a catalyst for building the Informal Economy and a lead programmer to fulfill the ILO R204 and its outcomes. We are the leaders in Informal Economy Support, and we are ready to support and grow the incredible industry.

To empower and elevate the informal economy by fostering sustainable growth, inclusivity, and prosperity for both entrepreneurs and workers.
